Tomahawk in a pepper and herb crust with chimicurri sauce

Ingredients

Doses for 2 people

For the chimichurri

  • Parsley 50 g
  • Fresh spring onion 40 g
  • Garlic2 cloves
  • 1 Fresh chili pepper
  • EVO oil 100 g
  • Cumin 2 grams
  • Apple vinegar 10 g
  • 1 Pinch of salt
  • 1 Pinch of black pepper

For the tomahawk

  • Tomahawk
  • Mixed herbs (thyme, oregano, rosemary, marjoram)
  • Black pepper

Preparation

Chop

Chop the parsley, spring onion, garlic and chili pepper together.

Mix

Mix in a bowl with the cumin, apple vinegar, salt and pepper.

Mix

Then add the extra-virgin olive oil and mix all the flavors in together.

Conserve

Conserve in the fridge until ready to serve.

Mix

Mix the herbs and pepper and spread on a plate, place the tomahawk on top and massage on all sides to make the herbs stick well.

Cook

Bake in the oven at 200 °C for 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve with the chimichurri.
