  • Veal sausages
  • Puff pastry 2 rolls
  • Egg
  • Sesame seeds
  • Ketchup
  • Milk 2 spoons

Cut

Cut the veal sausages into three parts.

Cut

Cut the puff pastry into strips big enough to wrap a single sausage.

Place

Place a oven-proof ceramic bowl in the center of a star-shaped oven tray lined with baking paper.

Wrap

Wrap each sausage in a strip of pastry and place on the oven tray, spaced slightly apart.

Continue

Continue this way with the other sausages to create a Christmas star.

Beat

Beat the egg with the milk. Brush the whole star with the egg and sprinkle each sausage with sesame seeds.
Cook in a hot oven at 180 °C for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and serve warm with ketchup, or any other sauce you like, in the center.
