Glazed baked shank

Ingredients

  • Cooked shank of Fiorani pork 1
  • Barbecue sauce 50 g
  • Honey 50 g
  • Salt and peppercorns
  • Extra virgin olive oil 10 g

How to preparare it

Make the marinade

In a saucepan, heat the honey, barbecue sauce, pepper and oil over a low heat just long enough to mix the aromas. Season with a little salt and keep aside.

Cook it

Brush the marinade on the surface of the shank, and wrap it in cling film for 15 minutes. Remove the film and cook it in a preheated static oven at 180°C for 25 minutes.

Serve with fries

Serve the shank with fries or chips, and a sauce like barbecue or mustard flavored with a little honey.
