Baked pasta with meatballs

Ingredients

Sunday is the best day for baked pasta! Even better if it is a “quick” version made with our ready-made pork and beef meatballs!

  • Conchiglioni pasta 600 g
  • Parmigiano Reggiano 3 spoons
  • Mozzarella 300 g
  • Fiorani pork and beef meatballs 500 g
  • Pumpkin 400 g
  • Mushrooms 400 g

Preparation

Cook

Clean and dice the pumpkin and slice the mushrooms. Brown a garlic clove in oil in a pan, add the pumpkin and cook for around ten minutes. Add the mushrooms and cook for a further 5 minutes.

Bollisci

Cook the conchiglioni in a pan of boiling salted water until al dente.

Cook

Cook the meatballs in a little oil in a pan for 12 minutes.

Cut

Cut the mozzarella into cubes and leave to rest in a sieve to drain off the excess water.

Mix

Mix the pumpkin, mushrooms, pasta and meatballs in a bowl and transfer to an oiled oven dish. Sprinkle Parmigiano Reggiano on the pasta and bake at 180 °C for 25-30 minutes, until a golden crust is formed on the top.
