  • Fiorani sausages with veal 1 pack
  • Rectangular puff pastry 1 pack
  • Egg 1
  • Sesame seeds or ground hazelnuts
  • Sauces to taste

Wrap the mummies

Cut thin strips of puff pastry. Wrap the veal sausages, leaving a slit for the eyes. Overlap the strips irregularly to simulate the mummy’s bandages.

Cook

Brush the pastry with beaten egg to make it golden and shiny. Bake in a static oven, pre-heated to 180 °C for 15 minutes.

The final touch

Quickly place two sesame seeds or grains on the slits to make the mummy’s eyes. Dip the mummy sausages in a bit of ketchup, the important thing is to enjoy them hot!
